UMIDIGI A3 Pro receives all updates automatically via FOTA method. You need this tool only in case of emergency (if you've bricked your phone), if you want to apply a clean install or if you want to clear all root access and custom recovery to make your phone able to receive FOTA updates again.

Extract the .rar file before use. The scatter file (MT6739_Android_scatter.txt) is inside the extracted folder, together with the other components

VCOM driver: Windows 10 can automatically install it. Please make sure that your Windows is logged in with administrator rights and your computer has a working internet connection when first time connecting your phone.

Here's an optional solution to start the flashing process on your UMIDIGI A3 Pro if the standard method doesn't work.

It's especially useful if your phone is bricked or is stuck in bootloop

1. Connect your UMIDIGI A3 Pro to USB.

2. Start the flashing process with the Download button in the flasher app.

3. Press and keep pressed the power button of your phone until the flashing process starts (red bar appears at the bottom of the app window), then release it. In this process you have to keep the power button pressed for about 10 seconds.

4. Wait until the flashing process finishes.

Kind request from users:
Please report any kind of new issues you experience after installing this update only if you've already flashed this ROM with SP Flash Tool in Firmware Upgrade mode. In rare cases a FOTA update can cause more or less serious malfunctions but that means only the update process went wrong, not a badly developed ROM. An updated stock ROM, especially related to the basic functions will not cause any new issues but will solve some of the existing ones.

Hola,
My operator is Digitel Venezuela, uses the B3 (1800) to provide 4G. The phone when placed in 4G starts to switch between 3G and G, never connects to 4G and the device temperature rises considerably. However, when starting a search of the available networks the phone displays 4G. In order to use the data and the voice I must place it in 3G network mode. I have read that there may be errors in the Android 8.1 operating system .. !!
Can you help me?

Hi - can you look at the 'about phone' info of the F/W upgrade and tell me if the Android security patch level is still Oct 2018 or if Umidigi added new OS security patches?

Hi!
I have this phone (UmiDigi A3 pro) since 6 days. When i turned on at first time, the phone downloaded and installed this update. There is no problem.
I live in Hungary (Central-Europe) and here the 4G VoLTE is works at all hosts (I use Vodafone). But against the description I do not find the VoLTE enable option.
It is my problem or the description is wrong or what? How can I enable the phone 4G VoLTE function?

óla comprei 2 desse celular ai umidigi A3 pro só que quando atualizei ficou uma listra na vertical do aparelho a tela continua funcionando não perfeitamente mais funciona pra algumas coisas, Por favor me ajudem
