screws fall out!

Hi.  Not sure if this is unique to my UMI Iron, but so far I've lost 2 screws from the sides of the phone. (the exposed screws that are mentioned as a design feature in the blurb!)  I've never touched them, so this would appear to be a design error -  or someone simply didn't tighten them properly when manufacturing the phone.

The phone hasn't fallen apart yet, but there are now two holes where the screws used to be.



Everything else about the phone has been great so far - so this would seem to be a minor issue - but where oh where can I get replacement screws of the same size?!

The same hapenned to me. Do you think you can get exact screws in a repair shop? ones that fit perfectly?

Hello,

I think if you walk to a repair shop and a kind staff works there, they will replace the missing screws for free. If you want to buy, you can't get less than 100pcs. in one purchase. That's something you probably don't need.

2 screws are missing from my iron (right middle & bottom left), i too would like to buy some replacements.
There seems to be loads of replacement parts for other umi phones but not the iron ?

please anybody could link me to any ?

I asked UMI about spare parts for the Iron. Hopefully we'll get a useful response. For missing screws I recommend the idea I mentioned above.

Yes, if that's a busy repair shop working with mobile phones, they'll surely find the appropriate screws for you.

ME too i lost two screws in the top

If you live in the united states you could go to a smartphone repair shop such as batteries+ they repair smartphones and may have the size that you need.
