Hello eveyone,

I'm new to this forum, but I have a little problem. My phone bricked last week. I tried to restore it using SP Flash tool, but no results because Windows 10 doesn't reconize the phone in preloader mode. anyway, i tried to reinstall my device using Linux, and it was restored succesfully to the v1.5 version. anyway, my IMEI is totally gone. Mobileuncle wouldn't let me change the IMEI, MTK Droid Tools can't even connect to the phone (in windows 10, with MTK drivers installed), and I also used a IMEI tool to create the IMEI file and replace it at ur own using root browser. But now i've this result (take a look at the attachments).
Can anyone please help me?

Hi,

Your IMEIs are probably intact in the NVRAM, just their copies on the data partition are damaged causing this weird (I've never seen such IMEI numbers ) display. Without working IMEI numbers your phone couldn't connect to the network but that's visible, it can.
First I suggest you to simply do a factory data reset from the phone's own settings menu. I ask you to clarify which method did you use under Linux to restore your phone. Anyway, SPFT works perfectly under Windows 10 64-bit. You should check the drivers and download the latest version of SPFT. Download

Hi,
I've used the SP flash tool with linux, because the drivers didn't work on windows 10.
But for now, downloaded the stock rom from needrom.com, flashed everything back except the preloader using SP flash tool in windows (drivers do work correctly right now). Now my network says 'invalid IMEI', Is there an (easy) way to re-generate the 'MP0B_001' file with my correct IMEI? Or maybe a tool to repair the IMEI? I've tried MTK Droid Tools again, but MTK Droid Tools only support MTK65xx devices, My device is MTK67xx (MT6753).

That's unlucky. Have you tried re-flashing 1.5?

I did. The IMEI file seems to be gone.

Does anyone wants to copy his IMEI file and send it to me, so i could try to change the IMEI with an HEX editor or with Engineermode on the phone? Because now i've no file to configure.

The file is located at /data/nvram/md/NVRAM/NVD_IMEI/ (MP0B_001)

Hi,

I do have my IMEI (just on the back of the box), but everything i try to change the IMEI from ' null'  to my own IMEI, something goes wrong. Mobileuncle cant send the command (AT+EGMR=1,7,"IMEI"), it says 'This command is not allowed in UserBuild'. MTK Droid Tools couldn't connect to the phone. I'm going to flash my phone 100% back to 1.5 again, and try the 'Chamelephon' app. Does anyone has other solutions?

Sure, download the stock 1.5 ROM for the UMI IRON. (Download available on www.needrom.com) (NOT the OTA version).
Format your phone with SP Flash tool. What i did was: remove the back of your phone, disconnect the battery, wait 5 seconds and connect the battery. In SP Flash Tool, click on format and start the format process. On your phone, hold the volume down button and connect the usb cable.
With the ROM installation i did the same thing. disconnect the battery from your phone, wait 5 seconds and reconnect the battery. In SP Flash tool, load the scatter file of the 1.5 stock ROM, select 'download only' and start the download. On your phone hold the volume down button, connect the usb cable and hold the volume down button untill SP flash tool has passed 'download DA' and started downloading the flash.
(The way how i unbricked my hard bricked phone)
