Hello,

I'm trying to remove built in apps from my Iron using ROM Toolbox Pro. On other devices I haven't had this problem, easily removing them, but with my Iron I can't and I don't know why. I'm freezing them for now, but I want to get rid of them. Is it something on the built-in rom that is preventing this? I'm using ROM v1.6

I read all threads and didn't find this same topic (as far as I can read).

Thank you for your help.

High Estuardo,

I'm not an Iron user, so I can give you a general tip only. Maybe the system partition is still write protected. To break it up, install adbd Insecure and check 'Enable insecure adbd'. Try again to delete those system files.

Faithfully,
Bence

Thank you bencebacsi. I installed it. And it did not work using ROM Toolbox Pro, but it worked using Titanium Backup Pro. Can I just uninstall adbd insecure? Or I need it to always run? Thank you again.

The deleted apps won't come back, so you may uninstall adbd insecure if you've finished.
Please, check the USB data transfer speed of your phone and vote in this thread: Iron USB transfer speed
Thank you in advance.

I see, thank you. So, your phone is a little bit faster than others but still produces insufficient speed. Not too good news.
