From Banggood told me to remove the battery  (myself) and to send the phone without battery with airmail because postage with DHL, FedEx and other companies is too expensive?!
Umi this is your licensed reseller!!!
Perfect phone, perfect quality, perfect support!

Unfortunately I bought a UMI Z and in 40 days my battery is swollen, I know that it happened with others greats brands too(UMIDIGI is not great, and on  this way will never be), but the scary is that UMIDIGI are total apathetic about this fail, When I told my friends about my new UMI Z, everybody said that I was crazy to buy one product from a unknow brand, this is stupid, now I have certain about this, When the response is "You can contact the seller to request the repair", this makes me so unhappy, I am from Brasil the cost to send my phone to repair is the same that a new phone, I wait to buy a new battery at Aliexpress but this is impossible yet. so... Thanks for nothing UMIDIGI

I got half year warranty for the battery and I can`t understand your attitude about this misstake.
I buyed the smartphone with trust to your company, but it is not acceptable that you say to me, to buy the battery from an othher seller.
You have offices in Europe. Why don`t they can send me a battery or you pay me a tribute for the battery or contact the UMI company about this worst Smartphone.
Because Umidigi are the producer of this Smartphone.
I think, this not satisfactory customer service takes your company in a worst positon.

Please, find a possible solution for this problem.

I think it is also in the interest of your company, to have satisfied customers.

The german "deutsche Post" doesn't send the Package to your adress, because the battery in the Smartphone ist a dangerous item.
There is no other possible way to send the Package.

ich hatte über Sie das smartphone Umidigi Z mit der

bestellt/gekauft und auch bekommen.
Anfangs war ich zufrieden mit dem Smartphone, jedoch leider ist ein Hardwarefehler eingetreten.
Das Display des Smartphones hat sich auf der rechten Seite angehoben.
Es hat bereits ein Besitzer die Mühe gemacht es zu reparieren.
Er hat nach dem Zerlegen festgestellt, dass das Accu zwischen dem Gehäuse Blasen gebildet hat und dadurch das Displaygehäuse sich vom Aluminiumrahmen nach oben gewolbt hat.
Nach Recherchen im Internet ist der Fehler bereits bei einigen anderen Besitzern ebenfalls aufgetreten.
Ich bitte Sie mir eine Antwort zu senden, was für Möglichkeiten bestehen um diesen Fehler zu beseitigen.
Ich wäre auch bereit bei Zusendung eines Accus die Reparatur hier auf meine eigene Kosten vor Ort durchführen zu lassen.
Im Anhang befinden sich Bilder von dem Fehler und meine Bestellbestätigung ihrerseits.

I had about you the smartphone Umidigi Z with the

Ordered / bought and also received.
At first I was satisfied with the smartphone, but unfortunately a hardware error has occurred.
The display of the smartphone has been raised to the right.
It already has an owner bothered to repair it.
After disassembling, it has determined that the Accu has formed bubbles between the housing and the display housing has thereby bulged upwards from the aluminum frame.

Dear all users,
We apologize for your experience with UMI Z.
After a deep investigated after we received one of the defected device sent back from the user,
According to the test report from the affected device, there's a few factor that could lead to this expansion:
1. Using none standard fast charger provided by the company, the over high electric current break the battery
2. Unstable electric current from the plug via the building could lead it to over high electric current and break the battery

UPDATE:The latest report, we found out There's about 20pcs Z's battery that is damaged during disassembly test in the factory.
This is factory default, not related to sellers like Gearbest.


Therefore, we have to provide a set of solution to sellers like Gearbest and others.
If you have battery expend problem, please contact the seller where you purchased the device to apply for warranty.
All extra cost is covered by UMIDIGI.

We apologized for any inconvenient!

Hey there,
We found out the problem that leads to the white line on the Z is because of the oleophobic coating was scratch off from the screen.
From the test report, telling us this oleophobic coating would be removed after at least 2000times rubbing.
We believe some users' Z oleophobic coating got off by unknown constantly rubbing.
We're guessing one mostly factor could be the long distant transportation with the inappropriate package.
Anyway, we changed another oleophobic coating supplies on C NOTE, so far we don't hear any similar case happened.
Production part is keep testing and monitoring this case.

I too have a two "smudge" lines on my phone. I thought it could be related to oleophobic coating since I can polish the display and the lines disappear until I smudge the screen again.  Post time 2017-5-20 03:20

you can choose to send the phone back and get a new replacement.
or you can ask for new battery to replace, but you will have to replace yourself, sorry that we don't have local repair shop yet at the moment.

Just to share my experience in this context.White strip on my phone covers one third of the screen, on the left side from top to bottom.
I am cleaning the screen once per day, gently and in appropriate way with a soft microfiber cloth and non agressive cleaning liquid.
It has not been increased yet so far.

Yes, finally it is difficult to have a return from an official dealer, gearbest for me, I only had 13 € while a battery costs 20 € ...
The UMIZ is not a smartphone, but an object waiting for explosion.
I tried to have a new battery of the Gearbest pzrt but apparently c'edt not possible because there is no stock
