Umi Iron F/W Update help

Hi i am trying to update my iron to firmware 1.6 via rootjoy on windows 10, when rootjoy finishes to push the rom at 100% it says firmware cannot push.(failed)

so i tried flashtool and when opening the program it asks for scatter.txt or something, which i cnannot find even in the rom ??

please help.

Hello Shootoman, did you saw SuperSU alert on screen? You have to allow root when it popup. Or boot to recovery and try it again. Before start the download recovery. you must see on device ADB permissione required it appears, then you press "yes". I have updated my iron to firmware 1.6 via rootjoy today without any problem. Anyway I have Windows 8

Hi again,
i tried to update via recovery but everytime i choose the .zip file it says installation aborted.
i even downloaded the file again and tried but still not working ??

Dude,
Copy 1.6 zip from your computer to your micro sd card and rename it to ota-update, then insert the card into the phone.
Now switch on the phone and also hold up volume button once you see the UMI logo, release power button and wait for the recovery menu.
Press volume down to select recovery mode then you will see folders menu on the phone and now select the folder where you have saved the file on sd card and update.
phone will go into auto flash mode and it will show you at the bottom install success and phone restarts.
make sure you back up the data before you do this.
