After the release of UMi iRon, these guys are bringing in yet another smartphone which I think is definitely going to be the successor of UMi iRon. It is called UMi iRon Pro and according to the features, the smartphone is going to have three security features instead of one. You guys think it is gonna be a great smartphone or what?

Is it true that regardless of the fingerprint reader, this has the same hardware as the normal Iron?
If so, the same ROMs will be published only the fingerprint reader feature will not be available to the normal Iron?
This could help to maintain the two device with minimal effort.

I have an Iron and I don't really want UMI to abandon it yet.
At least till all the "bugs" fixed and advertised feature added.

Yes, that's the case. The original Iron will be just upgraded with a fingerprint scanner (since the eye scanner is not really useful) and a more up-to-date cover, but everything else will be the same. So, they must be the same firmware compatible.
