What’s the first thing that comes to your mind when think about budget phones? Pretty sure it’s definitely not something that’s tastefully designed with an artist’s visions. We at UMi strive to bring the best to the masses -- UMi Rome and UMi Rome X are just two examples of that intention.
We want to show the world where it isn’t necessary for a phone to cost a fortune to look and feel good (besides performing up to expectations). This zeal and ambition leads our work.
We’d like to present the first look of our upcoming budget smartphone, the UMi London. Since it’s so different from other representatives of its category, we prefer to call it our ‘sub-$100 flagship’ rather than just another budget phone.
Extensive research, knowledge and craftsmanship have gone into making UMi London the phone that it is. The UMi London comes with a MediaTek MT6580 processor, 1GB of RAM, 8GB of storage (which is expandable), a 5-inch 1280 x 720p display (SHARP ® IPS 2.5D Arc screen), 2050mAh battery, industry-leading 8.0MP Sony IMX149 camera on the rear and a 2.0MP camera on the front side.
This is the first time that technologies such as DG Twin-Shield™ Technology, 3M™ Pressure Absorption and Dual 2.5D Glass is engineered for a sub-$100 flagship.
