The Touch need an update it has many SW failures with Bluetooth, GPS, Wifi or in general many bugs in ROM. Is it possible that you give us an respond? Im been writing many times but with no respond!
Please can you at least give an acknowledgement to my previous 2 posts? Please recognise that you have customers requiring assistance/answers. I did not choose to buy a UMI phone because I wanted a cheap phone, I firmly believe that manufacturers other than Samsung, Apple, Nokia etc can deliver quality products. Where you seem to be failing is in your support and customer service. It is important that if you are to expand your market you need to retain your existing customers by respecting them and addressing their issues.
A week later and no response to my post below. since this post I have tried various methods to install this update, including removing sim & memory card and performing a factory reset. As you can imagine the latter was inconvenient as all settings, apps, accounts etc were deleted, which would have been acceptable if it had worked... but it didn't, same issue with phone hanging on the update screen with the message 'Reboot...' As this was done at factory settings it is obvious that this is an issue at the UMI side, please supply a solution to this.
Hi, This install with the 3.03 ROM is becoming irritating, I get the same issue as 'Ferra' described back in May. I have had the phone for a couple of months now and have tried to install the update many times. The phone keeps telling me that there is a wireless update available but it's always the same one and never completes the update. Please can you supply a resolution to this?
I'm trying to install latest OTA firmware update, but it's now possible. It's remains freezed on "Reboot..." popup and nothing happens. Is there a way to install it from sd card? Any other solutions?

Hi, OTA started and stopped at 28%. I cancelled the already downloaded part of file and request again che check the update............since the the OTA check and update app will crash as soon I choose "verify Update" .
