I have a UMidigi Note C. First, i have a problem with battery. When the battery is 30% the drain is very very fast. For 5 minute the phone is off. I made one charging 0 - 100%. And the battery charg over 3,4 hours is this normal? 4 hours and more from 0% to 100%?
And i want check for new update and every time i see - "Conection lost". I made hard and factory reset .. no result ..

Sometimes you need press volume button up or down after connecting switched off phone to pc while SPFT is running.
I update the system and battery drain don't stop. From 100% to 90% for minute. I don't usage the phone. After that from 20 to 0% for second ... This is the second cycle. Maybe this battery will. Hange for new or change the phone.
How you updated your phone SPFT, OTA etc? Did you perform factory reset after update?
I don't have this phone yet so I can't confirm fault or find solution. But I will ask colleagues from headquarter.
When you doing update you only adding repairing patch. But when you using SPFT you flashing complete ROM.
Also you can change firmware upgrade to format + download but after that you probably need use SN writer to restore your IMEI numbers http://community.umidigi.com/thread-1375-1-1.html
I don't know will this help but is worth to try.
Please remember that SPFT will remove all user data etc.
I wrote to seller, because i think this device has hardware problem. I must do 100 things for check this problem. If the device is ok i don't do this step - flash, SN and etc. I must flash and after that restore IMEI. Why?! This is a new device and i have a lot a problem ...
