Good news indeed, really looking forward to my lovely new phone being "current".
In relation to the screen ghost taps, I didn't expereince this issue until i flashed the spanish unofficial rom (can't remember the name) and the screen became almost unusuable. When i returned to default the issue went away. Don't know if that gives any clues?
Umi usually updated Friday. Hence my reply mate, but my question is whether the version 5.0 that will release this weekend is fully operational? a failure? Because what was missing and that would bring forth faulty ....

I haven't realized that habit but I believe you. The upcoming 5.0 version is fully operational, the only reported issue is related to the touch screen. Maybe they couldn't solve that problem yet and this upgrade will be delayed again.
Whole day I couldn't reach my contact at UMI today although she appeared online. So, I don't know now what to think.
I hope this aren't just empty promises, but I still don't know why would they be releasing 5.0 and after a few days from that release 5.1? Why not just focus development on most recent version if that is possible, better to have 1 good version (regardless of it being 5.0 or 5.1 ), than 2 so-so versions with bugs.
