Just take a look at this advertisement and the comments below. LINK
Probably MediaTek was that who ...

They do not want to defend the indefensible ... The jiayu 5.1 .. here s3 has links to the different roms.

However UMI fails to even having promised would come on those days and still taking cheap excuses ... that if Chinese fall, now man does not operate the sim or camera, come, you are wavering in our faces ... No UMI but as I said in another post.

They NOT HAVE SERIOUS WITH CUSTOMERS OR WITH THEMSELVES.

All of those ROMs are created by Jiayu fans (even the first one that called "Official" in the title) but a real official firmware has not been released. So in this case you should attack UMI fans since they are not enough talented unlike Jiayu fans. - lol - The two manufacturers, UMI and Jiayu are not different: They promised a lollipop upgrade but couldn't make it. Sorry to say that but your reasoning by these links are more than weak.

Finally now I trust better on UMI support, because at least they provides information for us. That would be even more comforting for us, if the developer engineers and the support would take it freely, wouldn't wait for daily questions of bencebacsi. But at least they answer for the questions, it's really promising!
Maybe we can help for UMI engineers with loud cheering and encouragement:
Go for it!
Come on guys!
Hurrah!
Go ahead!
...

That user, who does write the most loud cheering, can receive the 5.1, first of all users!
Come on! Hurrah! Let everybody write loudly the cheering! (And bencebacsi give over our cheering to engineers as a gift!)

@bencebacsi- I thought he sounded serious .
Makes you wonder ,these devices, Infocus m810,SD 801,2,5ghz etc,with lollipop ,only  $143 .  I know which I'd be buying if I didn't already have emax.

Not a bad overall performance but they use the obsolete, only 32-bit and battery drainer Snapdragon 801 SoC and no dual SIM support. The camera is even worse than the one in UMI eMAX. PLus I don't know where's they customer support. In this price range I'd buy a Xiaomi Redme Note 2.
