Did you read back? Holzi sent two links with people that already discovered the sensor.

OV8858 from Omnivision on the backside and a gc2755 from I dont know.
...
Just stumbled accross a github repository with the kernel source of Elephone P6000. It contains a driver for the ov8858 camera sensor. Maybe we can compile it and run it on the Emax.

And:

Maybe someone with deeper knowledge can have a look into this repo too
Some ARM64 defconfigs for MT6752, with settings for OV8858.

you can try this.

use emax 5.0 LP beta ROM and replace boot.img with the boot.img from MSTAR S700 ROM (it's on needrom). Also replace the original recovery.img with twrp-recovery 2.8.7 for lollipop. Flash this with SP Flash Tool. After that replace the modem file with the one from KitKat via TWRP file manager and root the phone with SuperSU.

MSTAR S700 has different kernel drivers and camera, so it would be useless. I tried to use our lollipop kernel with bootimg of MSTAR but will not start, also need to bring the cam libraries, not just the kernel
