Maybe both versions have advantages and disadvantages. we don't know yet. On the other hand, this week has passed without releasing the promised 5.0 upgrade. Until now they've never worked on weekends.

once there is a working version of 5.0, 5.1 should be relatively easy.  The kernel can be the same, and so can the baseband, the rest can easily be used from other roms.  Issue at the moment is default encryption in the kernel, and no 64 bit version of the baseband pointed to by the boot image.

It seems incredible now say that this week had rom 5.0 and back again having problems. Umi you do not want or painting, I'll sell my terminal and I bought another brand. What a disappointment and deception ... If you can read assure you I have not met a liar brand more than yours ... bye.

Dont forget, its not just the umi, its mediatek too. They are, who dont make it as they had to. (Source code)

Thats the problem with most of the brands. The cheaper and good phones on a Mediatek SoC, so if you want a good supported phone, u have to buy wisely.

(AS i know it these are good supported SoCs: Qualcomm Snapdragons, Samsung Exynos, HiSilicon Kirin. And the best is that when/if you buy a Google Nexus. )

He/She probably meant jackass, what is just the male entity of a horse-like mammal, although I have no information about that whether UMI has created a such animal or not.

That they had first thought they would say ... But of course update is easier said than be updated even without knowing that they can sell for such mobile ...

New Version of Umi Iron  is comming out. It is  called UMI IRONY and it will have Android 7.0
