umi zero was the beginning of the lies and promises updates that were not met I'm not going to trust this brand if they agreed that would manufacture the phone with TCL Ubiera agreed with them upgrade if not put on the page this phone will upgrade to lollipop I was waiting to have if lollipop solved by upgrading to failures but now is to wait for umi

My reliable inner man at UMI Development said me for sure, that the Android 7.2 (Larks' tongues in aspic) is coming to UMI eMAX next month. That's sure. And really-truly-verily probable indeed in earnest that the Android 8.1 (Eye of newt and toe of frog) is coming at Christmas. And of course the UMI Development also promised, that Lollipop is coming yesterday or before yesterday, so we must wait only minus one or two days for Lollipop (with a time machine, of course - if you don't have a time machine, buy one quickly if you want Lollipop).
So so.

\n\nThere will have been no-one home at Umi this week so nothing done by those hard working coders as it has been yet another  Chinese national holiday.  This means they will have forgotten everything they were doing and have to start again from scratch.  Rest assured by the next millenium there might possibly be some news on when they will restart thinking about possibly starting work on (or planning the date they might start thinking about it) how to turn their computers on.  Then, and only then will there be any possible progress made on working out how to Google 'Umi eMax Android 5.1' Where they will hope some talented person in a forum somewhere has done all their work for them as they obviously seem incapable of doing it themselves.

Ok, ok, seriously, are we going to have an update at any time? Next month? Next year? 10 years from now?
Are they working on it?
Theu should give us some answers. What a company!! They go on holidays and let here a lot of customers hanging!!!
Lollipop is the biggest advance that android made in the last times, I think we should be able to get this in our phones (much more if they promised it in their advertisement).
I ONLY bought this phone because of that promise, I am really angry at this issue. I was giving a chance to chinese technology, but I give up, not anymore.

If I could have that time machine that you talk about in previous comments, I would tell myself to don't buy anything from UMI.

Yes. The chinese national holiday is ended, the UMI developers can work again. Maybe with result.
