Hi
The sim pin problem is related to first firmware.
The second I don't know.
I can advice you to flash system with SPFT to latest available firmware
Here is SPFT instruction http://community.umidigi.com/thread-11-1-1.html
And here all available ROMs http://community.umidigi.com/forum-152-1.html
Of course if you don't want to do this you can contact to seller and request repair, replace or refund
I have seen a lot of posts on the web of people received Umidigi cell phones Dead on Arrival. Does anyone know if Umidigi is dealing with this as it is costing me almost half what I paid to send it back and get a replacement sent to me? Gearbest is not interested in investigating why so many people get phones that don't even start up from new. Umidigi is the biggest complaint people have so I want to bring it to their attention so people don't end up paying 50 to 100% more for the phone. It now ends up costing me as much as getting a Samsung or Hauwei locally so there was no point in me getting this phone because it was cheaper that its rivals with the same specs.
