COLOR OS v2.1 for eMAX

Hello, everybody!


I saw that arrived an "official" COLOR OS v2.1 for eMAX with Rootjoy. I'm interested with that ROM, I downloaded it, and if I could know, when arrives the stock 5.1 ROM indeed, I could make decision about that I want to install  COLOR OS 2.1 or I do not want. Finally I want to use the stock 5.1 ROM, but until that arrives, maybe I use the  COLOR OS 2.1, if the arrive of the stock 5.1 will be a long time enough. As I said I downloaded the  COLOR, but didn't install yet, I'm thinking and thinking - maybe tomorrow comes the stock 5.1, maybe comes next weak, next month, next year, 'next never'...

And what about the  COLOR OS v2.1 for eMAX?! We know nothing about this ROM today. It's logical to think, that is a Lollipop 5.0 ROM. So since september 16. we have an 'official' Lollipop ROM for the eMAX?! But this Lollipop isn't the promised stock 5.1, that's an 'UMI official custom' 5.0?! The UMI gave us an 'official custom' Lollipop with the  COLOR OS v2.1?! And the 'official custom' Lollipop came previously than the stock Lollipop?! What should we think about this?!


Did anybody try this ROM? What are the experiences?

COLOR OS v2.1 is still a KitKat version. I also hope, the lollipop release will be a 5.1 multilingual stock version, not a shitty bilingual custom gadget. I try to ask UMI staff every workday but no luck until now. I already reported multiple times the concern of many people about this situation but the answer is always that, this latency is not their intention. Despite my definite request, they refused to connect me to a developer. So, I'm not able to find out any details of the reasons.

Oh, thank you my dear Winnie... Bence! It is really important information for me, that the 'eMAX COLOR OS v2.1' also is only KitKat. Already I see, of course this isn't an Oppo version, tihis v2.1 is only the COLOR OS UI, not the COLOR OS ROM. But I was surprised about the 2.1 version name ("Ezeknél a méheknél sohase lehessen tudni" - "You never can tell with bees.")...   
So maybe (probably) I don't try this 'eMAX COLOR OS'. I'm waiting more for Godot... stock Lollipop 5.1. And waiting for information about that, maybe your daily question work isn't like a Sisyphus work.

It is the official ROM ColorOS, I ported the Oppo R7. This version was initially created to KK, then recompiled for the lollipop, but the lollipop version exists only for smartdragon

And just so you know friend, I am of the UMI team, no gain for it. Or collaboration I get ... I'm currently getting cooperation from other Chinese companies, but not of UMI. just ported the coloros why is my Favorite android system, then ported the Flyme because many people wanted. when out a coloros 5.1 I commitment to behave until then, I have no interest in android base/stock

Thanks for your replies (and for your nice work, of course), I also saw your COLOR OS 2.0 for eMAX and thought about installation but didn't yet. Thinking yet...
I ask you, this v2.1 also "is protected to reinstall another ROM", or already did you remove this protection from this v2.1 ROM?

You wrote 'coloros 5.1' - maybe you wanted to write 2.1?
You wrote 'smartdragon' - maybe you wanted to write Snapdragon?

I did not remove the protections facilities via RootJoy because I do not use RootJoy =} but I think the 2.1 works, not tested, but I saw that posted for download - although they have not warned
