What I do know is that I pre-ordered at an official Umi store and there specified Android 7. And also remember the words written by Ben in this forum (internet thanks to God, have a good memory).

Where can I add my own song as a ringtone? I do not see the settings

You have at least two options.
1. (recommended) Copy your ringtone files to the Ringtones folder in the internal memory (don't store ringtones on the SD card), reboot your phone and you'll find your files in the list of ringtones.
2. Open your file in the stock music player and you can set it as ringtone after tapping the 3-dot menu button at the top right corner.

How to put TWRP 3.0.3 in the last rom ROM 20170505_g9v57_kw_u3_4m?

When I put the TWRP 3.0.3 and after entering TWRP 3.0.3, on restart the UMI logo remains on the screen and does not continue.

I've followed this way http://community.umidigi.com/thread-2962-1-1.html and it's working perfectly with latest ROM. What I did

1: Flash New ROM and execute full setup (Google account, etc..)
2: Flash TWRP 3.0.3 and restart phone with Volume up & Power Key on.
3: Flash SuperSU with TWRP
4: Restart Phone (just to be sure that SuperSu works)
5: Flash Xposed from TWRP
6: Install GravityBox MM + Bootmanager from Xposed Installer
7 Enjoy a quite nice phone :-)

Ben, are you serious ?

You said 7.0 for Plus E  was in working beta early december 2016. Then you said it's a mistake from a colleague, that it was actually for Umi Z. !!!! Then How come on february, 02nd, 2017 about umi Z you were stating that you were still waiting for the SDK ! and for a patch from MTK in April !


How could we not feel being fooled and scammed ?

If there is no update 7, I would feel greatly cheated. I bought it in the first place for that and so the store promoted it, if  had permission from the official store? I do not know. Reading the "official" answers in the outrageous forums
