What do you mean by 'uluchshilos' ??

I've tried to pair a BT Speaker... It's 2 month that I was trying with previous ROM and never been able to do it. Tried yesterday evening, it took 5 sec to get it paired and working...

So, I cross fingers

Hey good morning! Question, did you flash TWRP from needrom? 3.0.3? Someone said that one wouldn't work with newest ROM.

Lots of people have been banned for posting screenshots proving it was advertised with 7.0, or even admin himself stated it before retracting claiming mistakes.
Lots of people are still banned when showing proofs of what they say, as opposed to what admin or mods are saying.

Please don't tell lies here. Now here's the chance for you to share your (or other users') proofs. I promise, you won't be banned for that.

Bencebacsi,

This is useless.
You are working for UMIDIGI.
Any proof or screenshots or whatever provided would result in the same denial from you or MarcinP, claiming it's fake, or that it's none of your responsibility. And any try to insist results in a ban.
Which I may understand, you being tied to your company.

Lots of people, in lots of countries (just check other regions sub-forums) have noticed the same, on loads of retailers sites, info pages etc (are they all lying ? what for ? are they all giving false informations ? what benefit to them ? or did they get those informations -like us customers- from a trusted source and were misled by UMI communication ?).

I -as most other dissapointed customer- have for sure other and better things to do than constantly bugging or annoying you, posting so called "hater" posts on this forum, like this was really a fun thing to do.

We, as customers, have long since made our opinion about your company's policy and support.
You're stating a good support for all devices ? Then how on earth is there still so many posts asking for support or updates for every device released and complaining there is none ? Why on earth your one and only answer to 75% of the bugs or issue is "factory reset, flash and format" again and again ? If this is really what needs to be done to clear the issues faced, then at very least, admit that your ROM is not ok !

I assume your company is still at its early years, and it can't be expected from you the same level than any major or even bigger or older company.
But the support, the communication and the customer related skills are to be improved drastically.

Your devices are decent, with reasonable prices. But lots of other company devices are as well.
Customer loyalty is gained by trust and support.
You are on the edge of losing it, however nice your products are looking.

Ben - himself admitted in conversation with me that UMI had released PLUS E with Android 7.0 straight out of the box. Later in almost every ad was mentioned a quick update to Android 7.0. You find that it was never so, you are not telling the truth.

Nope, I've never spoken about the android 7 upgrade in present or present perfect tense and I don't remember to a ''quick update'' mentioned.  Post time 2017-5-24 01:39

Hi
Yes, TWRP 3.0.3 flashed as explained in the forum. Works like a charm with latest ROM 20170505_g9v57_kw_u3_4m. And Xposed framework + modules are working fine.

I don't agreed with UMIDIGI about Android 7 story.. I've bought this phone because it was clearly explained that Android Nougat was planned (if not out of the box) but it seems that they changed their view on it.

Just hoping that OS Dev will continue for Umi Plus E as hardware is very good and there's a lot of space of improvement (even with Android 6 :-) )

Bencebacsi,

This is useless.

I'm still waiting for your proofs. Those ''Lots of people, in lots of countries'' (maybe not so many) always cite that same one picture that shows a black and a blue color CGI picture of the arriving UMi Plus E with Android 7 mentioned. That material was used in the earliest announcement of this model in September 2016, when it was not yet released (not even a prototype was available) and of course, it was not even available in pre-sale. That press release appeared first on gizchina.com and most of the other tech sites and some web shops just used that source. The pre-sale started much later, on 9th November. From that date, UMi has never mentioned an existing or upcoming android 7 system but Android 6 was mentioned on every official page. That's true, if we were asked, we promised that, we take every effort to release an Android 7 upgrade for this model as soon as possible. That statement is still true and still valid. However, it's still up to MediaTek, not to UMIDIGI.
Unfortunately, that's not a new thing, some sellers are too lazy to check the official product pages when starting to list a new model and just use the stuffs they find by simple web searching.
Maybe you made your purchase based on the info originated from the page I linked above but if that happened, you didn't check any of UMi's official pages.
As a conclusion, if your seller has advertised this model with Android 7 out of the box or promised such an upgrade with a confirmed deadline and that deadline is over, you are entitled to request a full refund from your seller.

Watch out your words Ben.
You already explained your version of the story. Mistake from a colleague stuff. You said your colleague gave you the info for an other device. OK. I checked release dates, and announcement on the forum for other devices.
Ben, please could you then let us know which other device your colleague was speaking of if not Plus E ?
