Yes, I did it too but it still does not work.

I installled udate 081722 and it works. It has the problems of the sim pin, the battery, but at least I can make calls

I am having this same issue with my phone too.  I just recently got a C Note 2 and have been having one hell of a time getting it to work correctly. My LTE isnt working at all.  I have the Metro PCS service (in Seattle, WA)  and have tried setting up the APN for the Metro service.  I did it exactly how they said to online and still no LTE.  Just has a big E where the LTE should be.  My service is spotty at best and I cant answer phone calls because the incallUI crashes every time I try to make or receive phone calls. Had to download a 3rd party phone app just to try and make calls at all but this doesn't work well either.  Any help would be much appreciated!
