No chance.

To quote bencebacsi...

Pretty crap really.

Now a warning. Remove your SD card and create a backup of the files you have on there. New build update will reformat the SD card when you reinsert. I found out the hard way!

\n\nHi, I received the OTA Update this week. But since I have issues with the Data connection. The Phone can't connect correctly to the LTE/GSM (3G/4G/etc...) Data
In System menu, the status of GPRS is Disconnect.
No problem with Wifi... but we have no Wifi on road
Some times it connect to 4G, but it disconnect a few minute after.

Could this problem on the BUG liste?

Perhaps have someone a solution (radio reset, setting, or anything else)??

(I'm in France on Free Mobile Operator)

News:  I removed the second SIM card, and until now it seems that the network connection remains active without cuts

• With 2 SIM, there is issue with losing 3G/4G connections.
• With 1 SIM card more less cuts

When an app requests permissions to something and shows the window with buttons to accept or deny, I never can accept, the button does nothing. I have to go to Settings -> Apps -> select app and use permissions switches.
It's not new to this update, but I had not reported previously.

That's quite a normal and safety process to check the system before updating it. We talk about factory ROM updates, not about custom ROMs. Please try to accept the difference.
The SD card will never get formatted without user permission.

I can't confirm your issue neither with the current, nor with any earlier versions, although there are more than 150 apps installed on my test device. Have you ever flashed your phone with SP Flash Tool to get a clean installation of the system software?

Oh come on. I've seen handsets with updates installed from TWRP with no issue.

Hi,

Some news !!

No chance !

It is a bit better with only one SIM, but the GPRS network is disconnecting ever and ever.

This phone have an pretty good hardware, is software part seams good to(and this, with his little bugs )
I like it, but it have big issue withe his "Baseband" or radio part.

I must going back to my old Moto X Play. Can't continu with this BIG GPRS disconnecting Problem

Have someone the same problem?
Heve someone an idee wath i can control, wath I can do?
Could someone help me?

After OTA update with wifi:

gravity sensor gone crazy after update:
I active autorotate
I can rotate image by moving phone but block when I turn back to portrait.
The only way to get correctly back is to force portrait mode.

Compass turn and turn around => South become north and north becom South =>  the compass turn and turn around... ( I used MTK engineer to calibrate it ... no way to get it back correctly )

Wireless have low range => 5 or 6 meters ( before update 10meters minimum)

3G/4G data or sensitivity => disconnexion...losing 3g/4g and go on edge... ( looping edge /3G/4G )

autofocus and face detection are not really calibrate

Before update, I had no issue...all was working...

Sorry for devs that the update didn't work well, hope to get back all features correctly. When It will be, I'll block all new update to keep all working !

I wait for root it because I need a full fonctionnal ROM to inactive update.
