Used to be fine,  and I used google maps to navigate all the time. A few months ago, google maps stopped working - it would allow me to plan my route but would not update my position. It seemed to coincide with a maps update so I tried winding back to previous versions - with no success.  I recently tried installing GPS Test. It tells me GNSS Status No Fix, and shows zero satellites in view and zero in use. I've tried clearinbg and resetting AGPS - but that had no effect.
Has anyone any idea what might be wrong or how to fix it?

Hi,
If you have a stock ROM you have two options:

- uninstall google updates (it worked for me for some time - two, three weeks)
- Install a custom ROM - Lewa seems to be working quite well - http://community.umidigi.com/thread-1619-1-1.html

Check the network connection
If you're trying to get your location data on apps that require the internet, like Google Maps, be sure you have an active internet connection. The android GPS not working problem may emerge if you're on low network coverage. To fix this, kindly reconnect to the internet or move to places with the strong network coverage.

Turn off and on GPS again
Depending on who manufactured your Android phone, your phone GPS may enter battery-saving mode if you've turned it on for a while. Here, restarting your GPS connection may help. Swipe down the quick-setting panel and tap the 'Location' shortcut to turn it off, then on again.

Turn on and turn off Airplane mode
While trying to fix GPS not working, one thing you've probably not tried is turning on and off the airplane mode. Turning on the Airplane mode cuts off all active connections and then restores it when turned off again. Doing this could also fix your GPS malfunctioning issue. Kindly pull down the quick-setting panel and tap on Airplane mode, wait for a few seconds then tap on it again to disable the airplane mode.

Greetings,
Peter

Due to the fact that this is not the issue. In the past, I have encountered such problems with leather wallets personalized while exploring it. However, when I explored the settings, the sound option was disabled. The SD card was automatically saved when I turned on the feature. This will allow it to start functioning properly. Take your time, explore the settings properly, and you'll find it.

I attempted rolling back to earlier versions because it seemed to correlate with a maps update, but I was unsuccessful.
