No, the charging time is still humongous. Last time I recharged my phone it took more than 8 hours, considering I started at 28%. It might recharge faster if battery is below 20%. I noticed this one time and I may be wrong, it could have been a coincidence. I'll try to replicate the conditions and maybe will charge as fast as that one time, when it took about 4 hours.

Hi,
If you have a PE fast charger, that you've bought separately, with this update your phone can be charged faster (12V/0.75A). In the previous version the charging voltage was unstable (jumping up and down) causing a slower charging.

I can confirm it was only a coincidence. Last night at 9:30 PM I plugged the charger with battery at 15%. 9 hours later, at 6:30 AM, the battery was fully charged. It's hilarious.

Fix battery drain and charging. Android 6.0 - 8/9 hours SoT. Now it's hard to reach 3,5 SoT. And charging time - I plugged my phone at 10:00 PM with battery at 10%. At 8:00 AM I had 88%!!!!! It's huge problem and it should be fixed asap

It's quite not that bad but 8-9 hours of SoT sounds to be extreme with any ROM version. 7 hours might be possible with low screen brightness.
If your phone discharges so quickly and gets charged so slowly, something must use the CPU in the background.

I'm quite sure that I could even reach 10 hours SoT with marshmallow because sometimes I had 5 hours SoT and still 50% left. Now it's much harder to reach normal SoT. I have almost none apps installed except Facebook and messenger but they're set to be cleaned in settings in background

To measure a real SoT time, you should
1. not use your phone but only set the screen to always on
2. let your phone run until the battery get exhausted.
If you get 50% after 5 hours (might be possible only with low brightness), that doesn't mean you still have another 5 hours.
