Android 7 fingerprint calibration?

Hi all,
Yesterday I flashed my Max with the Android 7 update, FW version 20170303. So far everything has been working, but the fingerprint reader is much more sensitive than before. The phone will frequently "detect" a fingerprint even if it is just in my pocket, on a table, ect with nothing even near the fingerprint reader. In the past I've had a similar issue, but simply calibrating the reader (going into the add fingerprint wizard but pressing calibrate instead of adding a finger) would quickly solve the issue. However, since the upgrade to Android 7.0 this option is not there, and I can find no way to calibrate the fingerprint reader. Is there any way to solve this issue? I have tried a factory reset but that did not help at all. It's very annoying since 90% of the time when I pull my phone out of my pocket it reads "Too many attempts. Try again later" and I cannot use my fingerprint. Any suggestions are very appreciated!

Currently calibration option is not existing but we hopping that engineers will be able add this in further updates.
Also please leave your device, powered off,  in dry worm place overnight.
I found that a bit of moisture triggering finger print sensor to "working".
Of course firstly please wash/wipe fingerprint before drying.

OK, so because I have sweaty fingers, my fingerprint does this? That's a bummer, because I have sweaty fingers most of the time.

I only saying that the moisture tripping finger print.
When on Android 6.0 you could touch with sweaty fingers and then calibrated and then all was working correctly but on Android 7.0 is no calibration option.

OK, I got it. Thanks. I hope the calibration is coming back because it's much needed.

У меня такая же проблема. Сканер говорит слишком много попыток. И за этим следует обновление 26102016. Даже обновление 7.0 не помогло. Надо что-то делать. Я не знаю, как выйти из этой ситуации. Пожалуйста, исправьте эту ошибку с обновлением. Инспектор раздражает эта неисправность.

I just got a new phone, had spent weeks researching for every little pro and con it had but there was one thing I now realize I had taken for granted, and that is the fingerprint reader.

You see, my new phone uses an in-display fingerprint reader and it's indeed a cool little gimmick but it's way worse than my older phone's physical fingerprint reader, a phone that is also 1/7th of the price of my new one.
