UMi Plus and Plus E need a USB cable with longer type-C connector or the connector pins won't reach the pins of the input connector. Use the original cable of your UMi Plus E or get another one of the same kind.

I use the original cable!
UMI Plus E with original cable -> not recognized
OnePlus 2 with UMI Plus E cable -> recognized ^^
And I already installed MTK drivers...
