General phone use question

So i got my new Z and i am pretty happy about it.

But i do have a question.

Every time i go shopping there is a beep from the phone with a notification saying this is a photo oputunety, and im like ???? WTF is wrong with people taking pictures in a convenience store, and why the hell do google think i want to be doing the same.
I really think this is a feature that should be set to off, and then stupid people can enable it if they cant find their own places to take pictures.

So my question is how do i turn off this nonsence in my phone ?

I also have a question about my mobile phone. When i trying to upload my videos to YouTube from it it says that size too big, so I use this software - Compress MP4 to reduce the size. But after that the video quality is down dramatically, How should I deal with it?
