UMI Rome Screen replacement no power

I have carefully replaced the touchscreen of my UMI Rome.
When I plug in the usb to charge I see the battery logo and the percentage on the screen.

But when I press the power in button the phone is not booting.
What could be the problem? I have screwed everything back because I noticed some copper foil which are touching some switches. Could there be any problems?

Is the power button working?
You can connect your phone to charger, wait for battery diagram on screen and wait for shut down screen then touch power button which should wake up screen. This will mean that power button is working. If is not responding maybe you damaged power button or in properly fitted.

The power button is indeed not responding when the battery logo is gone. I will check the power button once again, but I did not remove the mechanism and I feel the click of the power button when I press it.
