Umi rome touch screen problem

Greeting. After I upgraded its Umi Rome to version v3.05 (20161124) touch screen is practically useless-how to correct it. All I did as it is written.

This may sound silly but check the battery.
I thought my Rome was having touch-screen issues but I found that the battery had swollen, probably due to overheating. Because the phone was fitted into a rigid cover the swelling caused the screen to bow sufficiently to affect the digitiser. Check by leaving the back off your phone for a while (to allow the screen to recover) or you may be able to feel the swelling on the battery.

I replaced the battery and the phone works fine.

There is nothing you can do to fix the problem. All UMI phones have the same problem after about 6 months.

UMI phones ain't made to last more than a few months before they start to give problems. Then you are supposed to upgrade to the latest UMI. This UMI engineers are constantly at work designing new phones to match the latest fashions and styles. Like, it's not much good having a phone that doesn't match your new handbag, now does it?

So to keep the UMI engineers in a job, and to stay fashionable and looking really cool, do yourself a favor and buy a brand, shiny new UMi Z

The engineers at UMI are presently on holidays. Hope they are enjoying themselves.
