This is the SP Flash Tool version of the

V3.07 (20161226) firmware

for UMI Rome X

Flash Tool operation is recommended for experienced users only. Do not use it if you cannot understand the whole process!

WARNING!

SP Flash Tool is not for updating your phone but for repairing its software if needed. You get all available and needed updates via OTA. This release here is for supporting later devices (in case when their software needs to be repaired), not for updating older ones.

ROM:

mt6580_w325_dj80umi4_wcdma_deamonmp_20161226181108.rar

Extract the .rar file before use. The scatter file (MT6580_Android_scatter.txt)

is inside the extracted folder, together with the other elements.

SPFT:

SP_Flash_Tool_v5.1648.rar

(use this one instead of the old version linked in the UMI forum guide)

VCOM driver:

MT65x3_USB_VCOM_drivers.zip

(still compatible with MT65xx phones)

It supports 32/64-bit Windows XP/Vista and only 64-bit Windows 7/8.x/10 systems.

Please post your resources in a new thread in the Products/UMi Rome X section. Let me know if you've done and then I'll delete this post. The ROM section is only for sharing stock ROMs, not for custom ROMs, except if a such ROM is released by UMi.

No, it's not an update file, don't flash this ROM on your phone if its version number is 3.05 or lower.

Hello! when i flash it (and v3.05 01/11/2016) my screen goes black - only backlight is working. Boot.img and lk.bin seems to be not supporting earlier versions of the phone. I got mine on february 2016 with rom 3.01 pre-installed. Maybe there is a fix to flash new rom without such problems?

Try to flash V3.05 (20160331).....After this is possible to flash  V3.05 (20161101), using "Download only", but remove checking of "ik" and "boot".....

я уже так и сделал )) на 4pda мы с bqakasha этот способ и проверили на мне, только подменяли boot и lk со старой прошивки

don't do upgrade this version not working anything. previous my version was 3.05 latest. but when i upgrade. any response on screen..
