No, do the latest update and wipe cache. No problems even with GPS.

Problem persists even after wipping cache partition.

When I received phone I done all updates to the latest one. Then I wiped cache and done master reset from recovery mode and then I started to install aplications.
Now I have no problem and I use ASUS Lancher because is more nicier.

I can't get past the second update, phone freezes. Factory reset results in setup wizard stops working and wiping cache does nothing to help it.

Yeah I know.
When I flash it I get the apps crashing on the setup wizard.

When you flash, no Android is running so no applications is running as well. Once again you have to use Flash tools connected directly via USB cable.

Again I know... Did you read what I say?
AFTER you flash it or you factory reset it what are you greated it?
I have 0 problem's flashing the ROM. Again on the setup wizard is where the apps start crashing and I can do anything.

Good morning, I'm from Brazil and I bought umi na banggood, and I have the problem on the display of my umi plus "e", I sent a video to youtube so that you understand better, my umi presents problems in the display in the following way, When you're wiping it out of nothing it darkens the screen slowly until everything is black with some stripes on the screen having to hold the power button to restart the device to restart again, another also when I go to sleep and leave the cell with the Screen blocked, when I wake up the cell phone is with the black screen not seeing how to unlock or handle, again having to restart.
