Shouldn't releasing FOTA be easier than releasing SPFT? Long delay to get the FOTA...why?

The flash tool format is used in the factory at the end of the manufacturing process, so practically that's the native format of any software releases. Compiling the OTA update files and programming the OTA server needs additional work.Still sperading the first Android 7.0 upgrade occupies the server.

Any news for a fix for GPS? Tried this firmware, broken warranty with GearBest that won't accept the phone back anymore and still I can't use GPS with Google Maps, Waze or any other app. I calibrated compass, disabled AGPS, disabled WiFi, calibrated GPS but fixing takes forever when previous fix is lost :-(

I just flashed the last rom.
Waiting to try other things and check if the battery consumption is normalized.
I tested the GPS: in 2 minutes had located about 10 satellites and the accuracy was 5 meters. But the signal strength was extremely low, even after 10 minutes.
I hope you can improve that in an upcoming update and that this is not manufacturing defect (that would have no arrangement).

I understand, is it possible to get the file for manual FOTA update? this way we don't overload the servers and still can update to the latest version by ourselves.

\n\nI wanna share with you my experience about UMI PLUS! I just buyed the phone yesturday afternoon! Since i took the phone,i haven`t done the initial setup with Android 6.0. I have plugged in the phone to pc,and i flashed the Android 7 update from here.
The phone works perfectly!!! I don`t have any problems with it!! No GPS problems,no signal problems,no nothing!! I have tested all you can test,and everything works just fine!!! And the battery....what can i say... 5hours (mixed 3G+Wifi)!! of S.O.T and i still have 47% . From 100% to 47% i had the screen on all the time for all kinds of tests,app downloads,and all other things!
For me,this is a very good phone! Keep it up UMI!!
