Well, I every day use GPS navigation apps with a UMi Plus without any issue but in Central Europe. We are not able to make tests in South-America. Could you please discribe what "GPS still does not work" means at you? You can't even locate any satellites or you have jumping positions or what?
The aperture value is still a physical preference of the camera, it's not software dependent but thank you for reporting that, the provided EXIF info is still not correct. It will be fixed.

I use Google Maps and GPS works well on large streets, highway for example...but very badly on narrow streets. In the city I get tremendous location jumps...

GPS signal and accuracy will be always weak in city around high buildings as concrete and steel materials blocking signals and probably you can't do nothing about. Especially that you mentioned that GPS is working correctly outside city and far from high buildings.
You can wait for next update maybe there will be some small improvement.
About sim card and lack of signal I can advice you to swap sim card in to other slot. But I thinking that your network provider is not supporting lower bands and that why you loosing signal and phone won't switch band.
Please swap sim cards and if still is the same please go to settings - more - mobile networks - preferred network - choose automatically

le GPS ne fonctionne pas, il est impossible de se localiser correctement :-( le signal se déplace d'un coup, il est impossible de s'en servir pour se déplacer, idem en running, sur une boucle de 10 kms, le GPS du téléphone trouve 12 Kms !!!!
La Maj en Android 7.0 V3.01_20161219 ne corrige pas le pb de GPS et on ne peux plus fermer d'un seul coup toutes les applications ouverte avec l'icone balais (était présent sur Android 6.0)
Est-ce que la version V3.01_20161228 corrige cette absence ?
