This really turns ridiculous here.

The problem of "unknown sources" turning on was already confirmed by you Administrator bencebacsi at least 3 times

and now you claim no security problem exists? Why does UMIDIGI keep defending instead of just fixing the known problem first?

Al pari di altri utenti italiani e non, sono a segnalare il pessimo supporto da parte di Umi. Nello specifico ho acquistato 3 modelli di smartphone Umi: un London e 2 Diamond. Nonostante le numerose e ripetute segnalazioni sulla pagina della community sul vs sito ufficiale, il problema dell'installazione automatica da fonti sconosciute, che riempie il telefono di malware, cambio di sfondo, cambio di luncher, aggiunta di widget, visualizzazione di pubblicità a pieno schermo o come banner in basso allo schermo anche per app che normalmente non hanno pubblicità all'interno (vedi Whatsapp), aggiunta automatica di app di dubbia provenienza con autorizzazioni praticamente per tutto ciò che il telefono fa. RIBADISCO CHE E' ALMENO 4 MESI CHE TUTTO QUESTO E' STATO SEGNALATO ED OGNI GIORNO MI RITROVO MAGICAMENTE ABILITATA L'INSTALLAZIONE DA FONTI SCONOSCIUTE. IL SOFTWARE DI QUESTI TELEFONI (London, Diamond e Diamond X) è contaminato da malware. Basti pensare che un utente ha pubblicato una rom modificata basata su reverse engineering e magicamente, una volta installata su uno dei due Diamond, tutto si è magicamente risolto. Però ho dovuto effettuare Root del telefono. Ora mi chiedo, se un utente in una settimana ha risolto la faccenda, come cazzo è possibile che voi in 4 mesi per il diamond e 8 per il London non siate riusciti ancora a rilasciare una cazzo di patch di sicurezza? E' vostra intenzione rilasciarla oppure avete qualche introito dalle app che si autoinstallano? Se volevo un dispositivo sovvenzionato da pubblicità acquistavo un kindle fire. NON CI SONO PIU' ATTENUANTI. GLI UTENTI COME ME SONO PIUTTOSTO INCAZZATI E VI AUGURO FORTUNA QUALORA VOGLIATE REALMENTE ENTRARE IN EUROPA MANTENENDO QUESTI FLAGELLI SOFTWARE NEI VOSTRI PRODOTTI. DOPO 4-8 MESI TUTTO QUESTO E' ASSURDO, RIDICONO E NON CONSONO AD UN AZIENDA CHE SI PONE L'OBIETTIVO DI CONQUISTARE QUOTE DI MERCATO IMPORTANTI ANCHE IN EUROPA. SIETE PIENI DI BUG, MA IL MARKETING COMPENSA. NON STAVOLTA. NON MI FERMO QUI. And to leave no doubts about the situation with my UMIDIGI Diamond:

Ever day morning after turning off flight mode within hours the "unknown sources" switch activates automatically, if it is not turned off again by hand after some random time the app "My Apps" magically installs itself, and if not uninstalled manually in time this app then installs other apps like "Super File Manager", "Super Locker", "Superb Cleaner", "More Performance" that display full screen advertisements and block using the phone repeatedly for a minute. During this phase the phone turns warm and the battery is drained in half a day that again makes the phone unusable. Multiple factory resets with setup from scratch and also a manual V7.0 firmware flash of the phone were performed with exact same results. The phone was more maintained then really used up to now. The troubles and time spent are in no appropriate rate to the orginally fair price of the phone.

What is done here to customers is called fraud in legal terms, as soon UMIDIGI opens a branch office in EU this act will be taken to court by consumer associations.

Bencebacsi, previously you confirmed already 3 times in this forum the automatic activation of "unknown sources". And now you claim this is not true anymore?

"On my test device and on the UMi Diamond phones of two of my friends the Unknown resources option doesn't turn on"

Fix what you already confirmed before and stop creating confusion with useless tips like

"You can access the free (open) Android sources and learn about how it works on source.android.com. Most of the kernel source code is held by MediaTek"

if you were already told the issue is in the _customized_ SystemUI.apk in the ROM.

Due to too many hater posts and lies in it, this post has been closed.
Just to summarize:
1. I admitted that the self enabling Unknown resources issue is present. I also admitted that, it's a security issue as well, especially at noobs who tend to visit unreliable web pages without knowing what happens there. I have never stated that, this issue does not hold any security risks.
2. I firmly confuted that, the original stock system software itself contains any kind of malware apps or codes. It does not contain. I asked you multiple times to prove the opposite but that has not happened. I have 3 UMi Diamond handsets around me in everyday use but no one of them has ever got installed any kind of unwanted apps.
