Good day to all. This ROM has corrected the problem with the screen (stretched image on the the bottom side). But still it does not connect wifi until you unlock. I tried to change the settings: keep wifi on during sleep - always.
UNCHECK - standby intelligent power saver.
battery saver - OFF, turn on automatically -NEVER.
There are some who have this problem?

My UMI Rome X screen turned black after 15 days use. Flushed the phone  by using SP_Flash_Tool_Win_v5.1552 and version 3.05 firmware "w325_dj80umi_wcdma_20160331_songlixin_PC". But the problem is not yet solved. Still Black!! Please help!

Please go to settings - wi-fi - top right three dots - advanced - keep wi-fi on during sleep - always.
Please go to battery saving mode and check incase you have some battery mode activated which causes Wi-Fi to switching off.

Hello, this doesn't work at all. There is internal bug in the kernel. Wifi always on. no battery saver, but something switching wifi or 3g off after a few minutes when screen goes off. I tried all applications like wake locks, wifi keep on etc from android play store- no success. Please fix this bug, is known from beginning of the umi rome.

Hi!

So I wanted to install TWRP onto a phone with a newer LCD—one that needs this updated firmware.

After flashing twrp.img as the new recovery.img, and choosing “recovery” in phone’s boot menu, I’m getting back to the standard “Android System Recovery”, and TWRP is not launched.

How could this be solved?

Hey,

I managed to solved this. So basically you have to repack recovery-twrp.img and make it use the kernel (zImage) from this ROM, 20161101.

Also, if you’re trying to flash CM, later, you have to repack its boot.img in the same way (substitute its zImage with this one, from 20161101).
