This is the SP Flash Tool version of the

V3.05 (20161101) firmware

for UMI Rome X

Flash Tool operation is recommended for experienced users only. Do not use it if you cannot understand the whole process!

ROM:
w325_dj80umi4_wcdma_20161101_songlixin_PC.rar
Extract the .rar file before use. The scatter file (MT6580_Android_scatter.txt)
is inside the extracted folder, together with the other elements.

SPFT:
SP_Flash_Tool_v5.1640.rar
(use this one instead of the old version linked in the UMI forum guide)

VCOM driver:
MT65x3_USB_VCOM_drivers.zip
(still compatible with MT65xx phones)
It supports 32/64-bit Windows XP/Vista and only 64-bit Windows 7/8.x/10 systems.

Good day to all. This ROM has corrected the problem with the screen (stretched image on the the bottom side). But still it does not connect wifi until you unlock. I tried to change the settings: keep wifi on during sleep - always.
UNCHECK - standby intelligent power saver.
battery saver - OFF, turn on automatically -NEVER.
There are some who have this problem?

SOLVED
FOR ANYONE TRYING TO INSTALL CYANOGENMOD OR ANY OTHER CUSTOM ROM ON UMI ROME X, THE KERNEL NEEDS TO BE CHANGED OR DON'T FLASH KERNEL. PEOPLE WITH NEW DEVICES USE THE LATEST TWRP RECOVERY LINKED ON THE FIRST PAGE.

FIRST UNZIP THE ROM.
EITHER GO INTO META-INF/COM/GOOGLE/ANDROID AND THEN OPEN UPDATER-SCRIPT. REMOVE THE LINE TOWARDS THE END WHICH WRITES THE KERNEL (BOOT.IMG) - SHOULD LOOK LIKE THIS:
package_extract_file("boot.img", "/dev/block/platform/mtk-msdc.0/by-name/boot");
AND THEN RE-ZIP FILE AND FLASH
OR
JUST DELETE BOOT.IMG AND THEN RE-ZIP AND F
OR
REPLACE THE BOOT.IMG WITH THE STOCK BOOT.IMG FROM ONE OF THE SPFT STOCK ROM FLASH THINGY

I hope this helped anyone out there with a UMI Rome X - I don't want others to endure the pain I did. For any help or inquiries regarding the UMI ROME X device (root, recovery, custom rom), reply to this message but I think I've linked everything below.

CM12.1 FOR NEW DEVICES WITH NEW LCD: http://www.needrom.com/download/cyanogenmod-9/ (same link but follow steps above - replace boot.img with stock kernel from ROM releases from UMI, delete it? or just delete the line which flashes it ^^^ we won't be able to flash new kernels without unlocking bootloader which I don't want to do as custom rom is enough)

Sorry but software updates cannot fix specific hardware issues. If your phone is covered by warranty, I suggest you to contact your reseller. Anyway you can buy a new touch screen here: http://bit.ly/2ePwLeU

actually i bought new one , thinking it was my touchscreen problem . but come on the new one doing the same think .. u read other users comment about the issue u will see its not just me .. if it was hardware issue why it does not occur all the time .. when it happens i use the power key to lock the phone and when screen goes off i hit power again and the touch screen will be working fine ...my phone still under warranty but no use sending it to everbuying where i bought it from it will take as much as the phone value to ship it .

1. Since you talked about the bad working only a part of the touch screen, that can be only a hardware related issue.
2. If there were a such bug in the software, then all handsets would be affected without exception and we would know about it of course and wouldn't release a such software.
3. "if it was hardware issue why it does not occur all the time" - Especially if it were a software issue, it would accur all the time but not unconditionally if that's caused by defective hardware. The hardware is always affected by environmental conditions while kernel level drivers are not.
4. If you've already bought 2 phones of the same kind, please share your order numbers and the product link(s) with us.

i do not think if  only hardware issue can cuse such thing , a bad software driver can cuse it too , with custom made rom i tried (amigo os v6 ) the problem did not occur ..there is a post about this issue been created here . so its not only me crying loud .
i did not buy 2 phones but one phone from everybuying.net

A custom made ROM is based on the same, factory kernel as stock ROMs, so it uses the same hardware drivers as well. Overall, since I don't have your specific device in hand, I cannot investigate your specific issue.
