Yes, that's the case. On the other hand, if you've got enough experiences with lollipop phones and look inside yourself, you must acknowledge that, a lollipop upgrade would give us about 10-20% more performance and nothing more. I jumped to UMI eMAX from an HTC mobile running Android 5.1 system but comparing to that phone, I don't feel myself limited by KitKat in any conditions, although yes, that's annoying that my phone could be more powerful. And that's an umbelievably weird case if a manufacturer's highest performance smartphone (eMAX is still that one) runs the most obsolete operating system. We are in that case here.
