Mmm, I hope that this is fixed too, but the chances of thet actually happening are practically non-existant. I am guessing that the Android N update will be designed for the Umi Plus, and then will be modified to "work" on the Umi Super, and then last and most definitely least, will be modified to "work" on the Umi Max. I wish Umi would stop releasing new devices, when they haven't yet managed to get their current devices to function properly. Umi software support is a joke, and they simply do not care about users like you and me.

Hi Several times you could read what you need to do to fix finger print issue. Firstly go to settings >security >fingerprint>add fingerprint >and then press calibrate (please follow screen information). Then I advise you to register fingers again.

Of course if you are not happy with this update you can always come back to older/previous software which wasn't cause finger print sensor issues for you. I using umi super and I decide to come back to older ROM versions 20160708 as I wasn't happy with screen responding and finger print.

I can't get why, but this morning I received the notification about this OTA on my phone.

Even if I was under 0810 version (the one with bugged updater) I tried to install the update and all went good.

How could this be possible? Did you managed to work around the updater bug in the update procedure itself?
In any case, I'm curios about those fingerprint sensor bug, I'll report if I'll encounter it.

In 20160810 firmware was incorrect server data for FOTA update but now server adres is changed and umi max probably receive FOTA update because server data matching.

Can you do a video explaining how to do it on windows 10 because I really want to have this fix before December 24th. It doesn't work me at all or at least the whole process  with pictures and detailed procedures. Thank You

It's the first time I'm doing this and I tried to do it as written above and nothing is working. I am currently using windows 10 and I have issues with the driver installation and the spft + rom flash. Can you make a deeper guide line with illustrations showing step by step how to do the procedures please ?
