Because of a dysfunctionality   in 20160810 firmware version, OTA update isn't possible. You have to flash this new version into your phone, using the guide provided on the first page. Details: http://community.umidigi.com/thread-5061-1-1.html After you flash it, you will receive further updates via OTA.

Although, I have to warn you that, if you flash this new version, fingerprint will misbehave, so it's your choice if you do it or not. Otherwise, everything else works fine.

Do you think one day solve the problem of the reader footprint that works alone, or GOOGLE speech recognition that activates itself when the smartphone is in charge, or we'll have to forget it, because I have not still want to return to the MAX V1.01_20160819 ROM firmware, because I am tired of all losing every time to reset all my applications that need authentication for some stop putting the update that are not certified without problems, an update is made for improved the smartphone and not to make bad

Manual (local) OTA update method with this zip file: UMi_MAX_20161017_c239v55_kw_u11_update.zip. But is not working ,during the installation it's made error!..I'm write from Italy

I'm only interested in improving camera performances, how can I get it?

This happens when the original firmware is 20160810. You have to flash it onto your phone. Details are on the first page of this post.

Well, this is something that xda developers would do . I don't know how to isolate the camera update. Maybe bencebacsi could help?

hello guys, today I managed to make SP Flash Tool + downloadable OTA release of the
V1.01_20161017 firmware
MAX for UMI and install custom recovery .... All right, thanks for the instructions very precie and correct
