Good morning. I introduce myself, my name is Luis and I write from Spain. I send you a greeting.
I am another affected by the last actualization of the umi max, to which the fingerprint sensor has stopped working. I've tried everything here exeptp do a hard reset, and the problem still exists. What is going to happen? maby its works fine whit Android 7.0? I buy this smarthphone because I love use fingerprint, and now i cant use...thas not good notice...It is incredible that there is no effective aid to solve this problem. I wonder what UMI is waiting for to solve this.

So i have this shhhh UMI Max.V.1.01_20160810 on my phone. And i can't get the 1017 update to it.
So FOTA and OTA are dead (gg!)
I try to follow the tutorial on first page to install via SP Flash tool, but the process is not starting (red loading bar not appears).
I tried the manual and auto driver install.
Selected scatter.
Started download.
Connect phone turned off. Hold power button, nothing.


Tried first connect phone, then start, then hold power button, nothing.


Anyone can help?

Some users mentioned that flashing process started after pressing volume up and power button

Thats incredible!!!.  Fiestas time the fingerprint dosnt work And Now, my umi Max have gosth touches screem.  Thats awesome!!. I think I have to looking for another smartphone in few time.

Thank you for the advice, but i can't confirm it.Yesterday i tried with windows 10 and i think that caused the problem. On windows 7 everything went well, and finished in 5 minutes.
Thank you again Microsoft! ....
