The random reboots i was getting when i buy the phone, them i update the rom with SPFT to 20160923 ...

I updated through "firmware upgrade" and it worked perfect. I recommend this method. You should try it and maybe your random reboots will stop. And don't worry about bricking your phone, you can unbrick it easily by searching this  forum.

And, by the way, I received the first FOTA update yesterday (20161017). Fingerprint works fine now.

Hi, i'm still having the random reboots, i update though the "firmware upgrade" and they didn't stop.
I'm oficially on PANIC!!!!!!
Need all the help  from anyone....

i did the manual update MAX V1.01_20160923 with success.

Followed  the instruction from here  UMI Forum and  for the end  asked i do clear  cache and data, to have a clean installation
i didn't because  I tried holding the vol-up and power keys When I let go of them, I get the picture of the Android laying down,
with a red warning triangle positioned over its chest.
  I used  my phone it seems all ok install the  version  MAX V1.01_20160923 and  after i did ota update with success.

  Must to do again manual update MAX V1.01_20160923 with SPFT from the beginning or all ok. ?

Hi al, I am unable to get my phone to connect to my windows 10 laptop, my computer can't connect to my UMI Max phone as it says it can't find the correct drivers. I tried both links above on top for the drivers......can someone help me please?

Hi, so I live in the UK and I havent got the ota update yet so I downloaded the zip on my phone and tried to install it manually but when I do so half way through the installing update the dead android guy pops up and error is written above then I just restart my phone and android boots as usual no problems please help
