just flash your phone to 9.23 and u will recieve FOTA

I would recommend you to be not using SD card for updating any phone. In phones SD memory mean main memory of your phone. So plug in your phone to computer and transfer Ota update zip to phone memory on first page SD card. Or if you have downloaded zip straight from internet go to  files manager >downloads cut your zip file and paste to first page of phone memory (SD card). Firstly  remove SD card from your phone. Then go to settings >about phone >wireless update >top right local update >find your zip from list (SD card, memory)  and update phone.

SO I have tried to install the mdiatek drivers on the first page of this tread. I get a command box and it says driver install a success.

I have installed SPFT and pointed it to te scatter file of the ROM. I have selected firmware upgrade.

My phone is tiurned  off I have enabled USB debugging.. I Click the download button in SPFT then connect the phone.

Nothing happens.

I try holdng Volume UP and power button as suggested above nothing happens..
I do get an windows message saying that a USB device tried to connect but was not recognised. SO I guess that the drivers haven't installed correctly.

How can I tell if the drivewrs have installed.

Can anyone tell me a newbie how to install the drivers.

This is way more difficult than I thoiught .

\n\nWell, I have a problem with my WiFi - it turns off automatically after working for a while and then if there is a SIM card turns automatically the mobile data usage. I tried to install the 20160923 ROM, but I think I stuck - I have tried everything to install the update as described, but nothing works for me. I have Windows 10 and tried all the methods described for installing the MTK driver, but it seams noting works for me. After pushing the Download and Volume UP + Power nothing happens. If I keep pressing on an android shows up with a message "No command". Then I have to reboot the phone. Any ideas?
P.S. Wow, with God's help I did it! Some how I was able to properly install the driver and the whole procedure went smooth. So far no problem with the WiFi, working properly! I will keep updating if there are some other issues!

Ok, here is the problem - my WiFi works properly without the SIM cards, as soon as insert them the problem appears again - WiFi stops and automatically turns on the mobile usage. Any ideas?

\n\nToday I updated from 10.08, jumping to 23.09, using SPFT, because there isn't another way, if i want to receive OTA upgrade in future.
All goes well with WIN7 64, using Mediatek driver (not the other one).
After restoring all (some hours) UMI MAX seems funtion well, except gigherprint that does not directly unblock as before. Now I have to switch button and then touch finger sensor, before directly the sensor. Is it a bug?

After a while. I red about recalibration finger sensor, delete and restore all finger. Done, but finger can't ublock phone. I don't know way, becaouse other app are able to be unbloked by figerprint (i.e. Dropbox)

put on your phone the 08.18 and than update it via fota to 9.23
