I think, UMI has misconfigured something... The biggest problem is that, they don't care about it.

Dear Users,

The availability of this update is not location dependent and only a few of you can't access it. Unfortunately, we cannot investigate such cases while we also cannot find any issues about our FOTA server. Already thousands of users all over the world were able to download and install this update.
For those who still have problems, I've shared the OTA update file here with basic installation instructions. So, even if you're not able to download it wireless, now you already have two simple options to download and install this update manually.

thanks for your manual ota update, (really awaited;))  )

but unfortunately in my fully stock umi max, i just do as described, : download, then local update...phone start, then reboot, then show a dead android green with error on it (((

if i press long on/off button, phone rebbot on the previous version,

hope you can try to solve it! because I really like this Max!!!!

Sorry, but I won't be able to resolve your issue remotely - maybe there's an incompatible or damaged recovery on your phone somehow. However, here's the SPFT method for you, that surely can give you a working solution.
