Yes, it's probably a hardware issue, so your phone needs to be repaired if possible or to be replaced.

Hello,
I received my phone today and i saw that the version installed is the latest (this one) but every hour or so it bricks and the 'android' screen comes up and to 'unbrick' it i have to restart it 2 - 3 times and then everything works normally again.. Then a hour later the same story :/
Could you help me with this?

Hi,

Unfortunatly this version seems to be unstable. I suggest you to flash the 20160810 version or as anyway the currently best solution, the UMi MAX V1.01_20160819 ROM but that one without the pre-loader since only that partition is not compatible.

So do you want say that umi max software is compatible with umi super? As there is different in RAM size and CPU frequency!
And in last updated for umi super you recommended untick preloader as this time for umi max software (as preloader is not compatible)  so now  I am completely confused  which software is fully designed and dedicated just for umi super.
Could you please answer for my last post with other issues?

Bencebacsi I have another question about software updates because as I can see some people have a lot problems with spft updates. I have other phone from other Chinese brand (Ulefone)  and if OTA update won't work they supplying software in zip folder and then you need put this zip folder on phone memory an use local update option in settings and all is running easily without any no need questions and troubles. There is no need any twrp or any extra apps or root to do this update. Is this possible to do by umi for next updates to skip SPFT.?
I hope that this time you will find time to give me any answer.

Yes, it's compatible since the peripheral hardware is the same. To uncheck the preloader is not just a recommendation but a mandatory or your phone will be bricked.

Sorry, but nobody has ever reported an issue of downloading the OTA update file about a UMi phone. That would be just even more complicated to download and copy it to your phone separately while if you had problems with the installation, that metod wouldn't help. Maybe Ulefone often has connection issues at their FOTA update server but fortunately UMi never causes such headaches.

To confirm your explanation every time when you updating umi phones you need uncheck preloader never mind is the dedicated software or not?
Example 1 : you have umi super and you have new dedicated software ( 3.02_2016.08.25 ) and you still need to uncheck preloader. Is that correct?
Example 2 : you have umi super and you have new not dedicated software from umi max ( V1. 01_2016.08.19 ) and you need uncheck preloader as this is not dedicated software. Is that correct?
