This is the SP Flash Tool version of the

v3.02_20160825 firmware

for UMI Super

Flash tool operation is recommended for experienced users only. Do not use it if you cannot understand the whole process!

UMI Super receives all updates automatically via FOTA method. You need this tool only in case of emergency (if you've bricekd your phone), if you want to apply a clean install or if you want to clear all root access and custom recovery to make your phone able to receive FOTA updates again.

ROM: 20160825_c239v55_kw_u1.rar - Extract the .rar file before use. The scatter file (MT6755_Android_scatter.txt) is inside the extracted folder, together with the other elements

SPFT: SP_Flash_Tool_v5.1628.rar (use this one instead of the old version linked in the UMI forum guide)

VCOM driver: MT65x3_USB_VCOM_drivers.zip or Mediatek_Driver_Auto_Installer_1.1352.00.rar

Here's an optional solution to start the flashing process on your UMI Super if the standard method doesn't work. It's especially useful if your phone is bricked or is stuck in bootloop.

1. Connect your UMI Super to USB.

2. Start the flashing process with the Download button in the flasher app.

3. Press and keep pressed the power button of your phone until the flashing process starts (red bar appears at the bottom of the app window), then release it. In this process you have to keep the power button pressed for about 10 seconds.

4. Wait until the flashing process finishes.

Unfortunatly this version seems to be unstable. I suggest you to flash the 20160810 version or as anyway the currently best solution, the UMi MAX V1.01_20160819 ROM but that one without the pre-loader since only that partition is not compatible.

Sorry, it doesn't contain the new TP driver. That will be included in another update coming in a few days.

Hello, is this just for euro edition (blue) or all, i have  umi super stock in europe V1 (working good - no problem), but i dont see update yet. Thank you

@ bencebacsi Does this ROM include the new touchscreen drivers? Hence will flashing this ROM with SPFT repair the incompatible touchscreen driver issue?

hi... i have tried to flash my umi super but it gave me this error "Sorry your device is un-supported now"... what can i do??

Just tried  Super 3.02_20160825 RO , it didn't solve the touch problem for me, once the device temperature rises the lower left corner of the screen goes crazy with ghost touches.

No, it doesn't even contain the engineer's Chinese language changelog, sorry.

This update is not that new one and just an intermittent version. A newer version also with FOTA update is coming.

Hi,

The Euro Edition is not different in hardver but only in color. You can use any version of firmwares released for UMi Super.
