It has been announced Umi Max has PE+ 2.0 (Mediatek's Pump Express Plus Quick Charge Technology) but you will need to buy a charger compatible with MTK Quick Charge ( PE+ Compatible) as Umi Max come with a standard charger.

Ok i have found two charger that will do the job, either Umi Super Charger or ROCK 2 in 1 Travel Charger as they both are compatible with MTK Quick Charge PE+.
Buying link for ROCK 2 in 1 Travel Charger :

Edited by saikee at 2016-9-1 17:09 \n\nThe factory supplied UMI charger is marked with 12/9/7 and 5VDC at different current rating.  Thus it will charge the Super with different voltages according to the battery condition.

A standard charger charges a battery at a fixed voltage and will need several hours but UMI charger can do it in about one hour.

I would check carefully if usng other quick chargers.  Standard USB charger is fixed at 5VDC and a 2Amp is needed for the UMI Super because it consumes about 0.6 Amp continuously if using GPS.

If an UMI Super user find a USB charger not working it is mostly due to low ampere capacity from the charger.

Edited by saikee at 2016-9-1 17:07 \n\nThe Rock 2 in 1 does have the voltage and ampere rating similar to UMI factory supplied charger.

Saikee, i am talking about the Umi Max not Umi Super, as The UMI MAX come with a standard Charger 5V/1A but UMI MAX has PE+ quick charge functionality, so to be able to charge the phone quickly, the user need to buy a Charger compatible with PE+ quick charge, that's why i recommend the user to buy either the Umi Super charger as it has PE+ charger or the ROCK 2 in 1 Wall charger.
