We understand. We just want to keep informed about the developments. Even if they can't, It would be nice to have that information. Don't keep us in the dark, please.

Sorry, but we're also in the dark about that yet. I'm trying to get as much information as I can.

New knowledge. I did a clean install ROM . The phone connected to another phone. The problem is that the phone will not connect to the Xiaomi Roidmi and does not allow streaming music in the car . My second phone ( Nexus 5) connects without problems . Can anyone try a Bluetooth headset or Xiaomi Roidmi? Thank you so much :-) ))) . I am sorry for my English.

So a team with sources provided by umi can't produce a cm ROM in all this time yet a small group of 2 or 3 people can make a fully functioning beta cm ROM in a few days. Think you hired the wrong team or you are just talking BS as per usual.

For me, that sounds very good.
I think it's awesome that UMi takes this path and responsive to the needs of their customers.
I have never heard that Samsung, HTC,... employs a team that cares about CyanogenMod.

I would also point out that this forum and the support may not be perfect,
but it is definitely SUPER.

Many thanks to bencebacsi and the entire UMi team.

PS: The main camera is getting better and now I am satisfied with the photos (almost).

As bence mentioned earlier it's not a developer ROM it has been ported from another branded company.  It's takes more than a few days to create a ROM designed for a specific device that is authorised officially for use by UMI or any other mobile  manufacturer.  If anything UMI should keep with their original Rom and iron out all the bugs causing the problems.


Let's hope the 30,000 pre ordered UMI max customers are happy with their ROM or these forums are going to get busy.

I don't think you quite understand, this ported ROM has nothing to do with umi. Bence has claimed that umi hired a team to create a cynanogenmod and we still haven't heard anything about this team or this ROM.

They haven't even done anything yet... He keeps claiming umi have hired a team of devs to create am official cyanogenmod ROM for umi super yet still has no info on who the team is, what the status of the development or any news at all. Just lots of vague statements and no information at all how's this worthy of praise!

I currently have no reason to complaints.
My UMi Super works well.
The camera comes a little better with each update.
GPS, WiFi, Bluetooth, fingerprint sensor, LED Notification,... making NO trouble.
The display has no scratches and my Super has already survived a crash without injury.

CyanogenMod would be a great bonus
and I'm curious if or when the official UMI version of CM13 appear.

the device manufacturers seem to have fallen into a black hole where software is concerned, cottage industry rom developers are more than happy to publish their progress and allow you to try software at your own risk, major IT companies like microsoft and google now behave the same way with their 'dev' and 'beta' channels (chrome os), again at your own risk, so why can't the manufacturers, it would seem an obvious way to me to gain a competitive advantage, must assume its down to a strategic decision about maximising sales turnover
