I'm one of the guys who contributed in the unofficial CyanogenMod13 rom, and yes, this is not a perfect build etc. But it's really hard for us to get anything working because we don't have the sources. This is a mere port, just a basic file replace. We couldn't possobly get even everything working. Is there any way we could get the sources? Can you as an admin, ask UMi? We absolutely need the sources, we could offer so much for the sources.

The other guys who work on it want to offer the perfect CyanogenMod13, Blisspop, Resurrection Remix and even MIUI!

We don't have our own XDA subforum, I guess because of the lack of sources. Samsung offers source codes, and it's one if the biggest OEM's, atleast in Europe. UMi should release the source codes aswell..

I have a built-in gps unit in my car so I have never even used GPS on this phone with either the stock or CM ROM's. I understand that it did not work well with the stock ROM and have read posts on XDA where people have said that it is only maginallyt better (if at all) with the CM ROM. Since I have no reason or need to use it with my phone, this issue has not affected me. Still, if it was already bad with the stock ROM and is the same or marginally better with the CM ROM then that still makes the CM ROM way better. The camera is better, the volume issues don't exist, thge phone actuallyidles at an acceptable CPU percentage which in turn makes for way better battery life. I also do not have to use a hack to get xposed to work. Things are better all over the place.

well said i thnk they dnt wnt to upgrade its default rom so blaming on mediatek.....

It's almost there,  why can't UMI recognise this and help towards development?  It would increase their reach within the android community expendentialy.  The UMI Super is begging for a new ROM

Pretty sweet but without finger print activation I'm not interested as I use it everyday, I'm guessing it won't be possible without the drivers either.

The developers are working on that. It will be fixed soon.

Has anyone with gps issues tested this yet? Maybe if it is a software problem on stock rom this will fix it.

Much better than the original UMI ROM. Everything works fine. Backup original ROM and try CM.
