You can search for a tool to unpack and repack system.img and/or boot.img. There are so many tools out here. "My" ported rom was an experiment..... if you think is usefull i can upload somewere and post,no problem for me,but for a really working port i need to fix camera resolution and i dont know how
Ok,working on final 6.0 Ulefone Vienna firmware.Ported rom is working nice and smooth.No bugs at all (in my brief experience). I am trying to make fingerprint working . I'll try to build an (semi) universal patch to port almost (maybe) any rom based to mtk6753.I am NOT a developer or an expert,just read around how to port rom's,so i have to say thank you to all guys shared their knowledges. This all in reason of very very bad Umi's support after sales..............Soon news.

Please upload to needrom when ready. I think missing FP can be accepted by many people as first version, than you can update when new ready

Vienna port have a bug in whatsup messages when idle for so much time.
Maybe i can upload unversal patch for porting 64bit on mtk6753,working only if is not necessary to port kernel too.You tell me if interested.....
Rom is rooted and dpi is set to 440.
Base is latest Umi's firmware.Multilanguage of course.
This is a twrp backup so extract files in twrp folder then restore rom.
Use at you own risk ! your touch can explode !
i think is not necessary.....i am working to port cm13 from 6753....i founded two roms cm13 for this soket
I have really few time to play with...but is not an impossible mission.
That's more than cool if you found CM13 for the SoC I not found any. I hope the missing part will be not more than FP like this. Good job, thanks a lot.
