i think you people don't hear or read what he is saying probably your phones have one fault or the other which made software effect on it useless and he made it clear the the phone are covered with warranty?
as for mine is ok and good. the first one that was sent to me has screen problem and i send it back then their send me another and since then it is ok, i have never use a phone with good battery as umi super.

Hi, I was able to update my Umi Super to the last upgrade removing the memory card in Settings --> Storage & USB --> SD Card.
It seems all right.

Well I find it working perfectly for me 3g and 4g work for me without any issues here in Uganda. Only issue now is the touch screen and not having the latest android security updates. Overall its an amazing device. the camera is amazing. GPS for me is working without any issues. Just set it to GPS Only and it works perfectly. I am not going to root this phone coz I have my bank app which doesn't work on rooted phones. Other issue which I find that is not a biggy for me is the earpiece volume is low though I have increased it in the engineering mode.

Desde Basque Contry. Todo perfecto en mi UMI Super. El GPS no problem, Batería bery good, 3G/4G no problem, Pantalla tactil, no problem. Si tienes problema con tactil, hacer reset de fábrica.
Cámara debe mejorarse, pero está bien.
Estoy satisfecho con este smartphone UMI Super.

1. After last update (maybe this fault was previously)  I found that when phone is on flat surface (table, seat, chair, etc) screen won't respond or hard to respond, you need put phone in to hand or on legs. Is there any body sensor on back of phone to picked up where phone is put?
2. The light sensor is working fine but I found that in the gray,  dark and at night is showing same value 0,0 lux and won't adjust screen brightness. Is that possible to fix in next update? I compare to other phones and in others showing different values as at gray light (evening) around 50-200 lux. Or if you using phone at night is 0.0 lux and then you switch on any light still is showing 0.0 lux and won't adjust brightness.
3. Is possible to remove one short cut for Sim card data switch on and replace with Hotspot as on short cut list is two Sim card data switches but there is no hotspot
4. I found that when phone is in deep sleep mode sometimes power button won't wake up phone or is taking long time to wake up phone
5. I found that CPU-Z app is showing wrong cpu data and most times will freeze up phone and then phone will reboot it self. As in information book says that there is 4 * 1,2 GHz and 4 * 2,0 GHz cpu-s but cpu-z could show that five or six has 1950 GHz.
6.Camera is fine (is definitely improved) I dont have any issues but one could be changes as when battery is under 15% flash wont work and flash light is working ,for me this is strange. Could you change that the flash is working never mined what charge level is battery.
7. Software is a bit heavy is taking around 850 MB plus basic apps so minimum capacity of soft is 1,3 GB as if you compare to other Chines brands as Ulefone is way less.

Hi, perhaps this section of UMI forum can explain to me what is the problem...

I bought the phone it was OK and working perfect in terms of speed and performance. I updated it then I immediately noticed some deep delays in the touch sensing. and the processing was also slowed down significantly. so in a couple of days I got a new update in the phone and all went perfectly well and the performance boosted. But the last update August 10 caused the phone to again go sluggish and it again started to lag my touch response. I couldn't write my texts properly after this update and there were almost 3 out of 10 misses of my input...
I have stopped using this phone util any further update. has any one experienced this??? I really need an update as I liked this phone so much but the last update ruined it.
Also I am unable to connect this phone to my windows 10 laptop while all other android phones connect to it easily. It seems there is a driver issue.
Need a serious help.

Hello, In general Umi Super is more than perfect. Anyway I managed to find 2 strange things related to Phone app. Nowhere I managed to find Call settings, call forward.. few times I review all the menus but didn't find it Please help  in case you know where is thing menu. And something really awful, when I make outgoing call, on answer it's changing to Unknown number, in call history all dialed established calls remains as Unknown number. If call is not answered it's show contact fine. Missed and Received calls are fine too.

Many Thanks for your work and update about these... but I think that Umi had to give us all these infos a couple of months ago, now it's too late.
most of us have the phone from more than 2 month and most of us have chosen how to proceed with the warranty options (gives from the seller) without all these informations that are Necessary to take the correct decision.

Waiting for latest OTA UPDATE WCH MGHT SOLVE 90% ISSUES mainly camera,gps, and speaker volume,and volte upgrade

Phone's camera is terrible. Almost every photos are  fuzzy and very bad. Please publish upgrade and fix it.
