This is the SP Flash Tool version of the

v3.02_20160810 firmware

for UMI Super

Flash tool operation is recommended for experienced users only. Do not use it if you cannot understand the whole process!

UMI Super receives all updates automatically via FOTA method. You need this tool only in case of emergency (if you've bricekd your phone), if you want to apply a clean install or if you want to clear all root access and custom recovery to make your phone able to receive FOTA updates again.

ROM: 20160810_c239v55_kw_u1.rar - Extract the .rar file before use. The scatter file (MT6755_Android_scatter.txt) is inside the extracted folder, together with the other elements

SPFT: SP_Flash_Tool_v5.1628.rar (use this one instead of the old version linked in the UMI forum guide)

VCOM driver: MT65x3_USB_VCOM_drivers.zip or Mediatek_Driver_Auto_Installer_1.1352.00.rar

Here's an optional solution to start the flashing process on your UMI Super if the standard method doesn't work. It's especially useful if your phone is bricked or is stuck in bootloop.

1. Connect your UMI Super to USB.

2. Start the flashing process with the Download button in the flasher app.

3. Press and keep pressed the power button of your phone until the flashing process starts (red bar appears at the bottom of the app window), then release it. In this process you have to keep the power button pressed for about 10 seconds.

4. Wait until the flashing process finishes.

I have upgrade my umi super to ROM V3.02_20160810. after I upgrade the umi super, my touchscreen are not sensitive anymore as usually.

and if taking a video, produced visible results oval.

can you fix the bugs please?

According to the developer's log (that's originally in Chinese) it's nothing important. I've attached the translated version.Please note, your issues about the quality/performance of any hardware parts might be sporadic defections of your specific device, that cannot be solved by software updates. In that case we suggest you to contact your retailer to help you resolve your problem by repairing or replacing your phone, according to their warranty policy. That also can give you more benefits than repeating the same complaints here again and again.
Despite the strict control of manufacturing, a very low amount of defective devices may leave the factory sometimes. Not even the high-end models of the greatest brands are exceptions.
Some defections get discovered only after a few hours of usage or caused by the environmental conditions while the device was being shipped to the buyer. If the WiFi, 4G, GPS or even bluetooth services don't work properly, that's not always about a software bug or an antenna connection issue. Even if just a small SMD resistor on the motherboard doesn't work at its reference value, that may cause an unstable working of the related hardware.
However, you are always covered by the warranty that your reseller provides you.
We at UMi while apologize for any inconveniences that a such defective smartphone of ours causes, never release a new device that shows considerable defections after thorough testing. There are no UMi smartphones on the market with bad working mobile data, WiFi, GPS or bluetooth due to ill-considered design. All such issues are the results of accidental, unforeseen conditions and are covered by warranty.

After long time and thorough testing, we can state that, the touch screen, GPS, WiFi, 3G/4G and bluetooth connections work properly with the current ROM on any faultless in hardware UMi Super phones. Only the camera needs further improvements but that work is still in progress. Of course, other software related improvements also will be applied.

Waiting for latest OTA UPDATE WCH MGHT SOLVE 90% ISSUES mainly camera,gps, and speaker volume,and volte upgrade

Well I find it working perfectly for me 3g and 4g work for me without any issues here in Uganda. Only issue now is the touch screen and not having the latest android security updates. Overall its an amazing device. the camera is amazing. GPS for me is working without any issues. Just set it to GPS Only and it works perfectly. I am not going to root this phone coz I have my bank app which doesn't work on rooted phones. Other issue which I find that is not a biggy for me is the earpiece volume is low though I have increased it in the engineering mode.

Phone's camera is terrible. Almost every photos are  fuzzy and very bad. Please publish upgrade and fix it.

UMI Super have more things to fix than minor bugs.
I don't understand UMI policies. This time, no changelog.

What about camera, gps and touchscreen?

Eu não percebi nenhuma mudança nesta ultima atualização de 10.08.2016.o GPS continua horrível e a conectividade 3G/4G continua péssima. Infelizmente eu estou arrependido de ter comprado esse Umi Super.

I didn't realize any difference in this last update (08.10.2016). The GPS is still horrible and conectivity 3G/4G is still very poor. Unfortunately I am regreted to purchase this Umi Super.

Hi .

I had the same problem .

If you want to fix instead of wait to UMI fix it, you must to do this:

1 Install TWRP
2 Root the phone
3 Install Xposed
4 Install module rootcloak
5 Add the bank app that you need to the exceptions list of the module Rootcloack.

I can't even flash this rom, all others work fine, this one doesn't. Used the latest drivers and the indicated flashtool..

From the looks of things, we're talking about a monthly release schedule for updates, right?
